I'm Sorry, These Products Are From WHERE?

I dug through piles for these. V OOC for me.

How much do you think I spent on these items?

Less than you think, probably! I was trolling the videos of the search page on Instagram when I saw a blogger talking about Marshall's and skincare. To be honest, I'm not a fan of TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ross, etc. I don't enjoy the notion of having to dig for a good find. Some people really enjoy it, so more power to them. This whole experience was so foreign to me.

The video that I found was a haul unveil. I like haul videos, so I gave it a shot. She was pulling out brand names that I recognized from my time as a Sephora employee as well as drug store names. Needless to say, this piqued my interest. I needed to replenish my night cream and face anyway, so while I was out, I wandered into a Marshall's to see if these brands were only available in certain stores.

At first sight, this was a typical bargain retailer experience. Aka, I saw things that would work in a pinch, but I'd rather save my money. I got to the cosmetics section with low expectations. Lo and behold, I saw high end brand names. I was taken aback. My heart sped up a little bit, as this was surely too good to be true. The first couple of items that I picked up were underwhelming. Either the box was horribly beaten up or it was an item that held no interest to me. I then went to the next rack.

My eyes got big as I found items that were worth the trip. I would say that 1 out of 4 items were worth picking up. If you are into drugstore brands, there is more to sort through. I was digging through attempting to find hidden gems. This Marshall's location had a lot of Shiseido and Elizabeth Arden. Unfortunately, I didn't need too too many of the items that they offered. I will be back though. It came down to either paying $20ish for a drugstore cream or a discounted high end cream. The choice was easy.

ITEMS PURCHASED FOR LESS THAN$80.00:

Dr. Brandt Dark Circles Away - If a product advertises the ability to lessen the permanent shadows under my eyes, I'm all for it. What I'm not all for is a high price tag. As this was high quality and reduced, I threw it in my basket.

Ole Henriksen Walnut Complexion Scrub - I used this back in my Sephora days. As I no longer receive gratis skincare, this product fell out of my routine. It's all natural, which is delightful in an exfoliant.

Elizabeth Arden Good Night's Sleep Restoring Cream - This cream is a fan favorite. According to my brief online research, the packaging has changed. After one use, I'm already a believer.

Buxom "White Russian" Bold Gel Lipstick - Marshall's had quite a few shades of this. I chose a pinky nude.

Ole Henriken African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser - OH has stopped selling this. They have a very similar cleanser now available. OH did an entire re-brand, which changed the packaging.

Becca Jet Set Glow Set - This is the type of kit you see in the checkout area for an overpriced cost. As it was reduced, I jumped at the purchase. This kit included two primers and the under-eye brightener.

Shiseido Cotton Pads - The packaging has changed in retail stores, which is why this was available. This doesn't affect the product, so I swiped these. I had previously never dreamed of overpaying for cotton rounds. This was exciting.
